Getting Ready for Your Tattoo Session

1. Have a Good Meal Before You Come In
Make sure to eat well at least an hour before your session. A good meal will help keep your energy up and make you feel more comfortable. Feel free to bring some snacks like chocolate, fruit, or a bottle of water. We want you to feel great from start to finish!

2. Wear Comfortable Clothing
If your tattoo is going on areas like your ribs or under your breast, wear clothes that make it easy to access the area. Loose, adjustable clothing makes things smoother for both of us. For chest tattoos, bringing nipple covers can also help you feel more comfortable.

3. Choose Soft, Loose Clothing and Underwear
Tight clothing can leave marks on your skin, which we’d like to avoid in the area we’re working on. Opt for loose, soft fabrics to keep your skin free of irritation and help you relax during the session.

4. Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine
Try to avoid drinking alcohol or too much caffeine at least a day before your session. Alcohol and caffeine can thin the blood, which isn’t ideal for the tattoo process. Staying hydrated with water is the best way to get ready!

5. Limit Sun Exposure
Protect your skin from the sun before your appointment. Sunburned or irritated skin can make tattooing uncomfortable, so keeping your skin in good shape will help us give you the best result.

6. Skip the Painkillers (If Possible)
Unless your doctor advises otherwise, it’s best to avoid painkillers before your tattoo. Tattoos are usually less painful than expected, and staying relaxed will help us create the best result. Don’t worry—you’re in good hands, and we’ll make sure everything goes smoothly!

7. Get a Good Night’s Sleep

A restful night before your appointment can make a big difference! Feeling well-rested helps you stay relaxed, making the experience more enjoyable.
